Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg

Place is pretty big but everyone we have encountered has been friendly and welcoming. Pastor does a great job and we have made it out home church

Want to have the Bible taught verse by verse and explained, this is the church for you! Pastor Ryan does that. He is a teacher, not a preacher.
The praise singing is a great way to praise the Lord too. The cafe and bookstore are great too and reasonably priced. Everyone is friendly but gives you your space too. You won't be sorry you came. Starts my week out uplifted. Gives me more strength for the coming week.

Yayyy! Thank you God for bringing my son and I to Calvary, I have been praying endlessly for the loving almighty God to find the right church for us. Finally we found our home church. I love the bookstore such a beautiful place. All my gifts are going to be from their store from now on :) The church is big and so beautiful and the kids area is so fun, all the decorations are great! The band that plays and the lead singer are great, such beautiful music! Please make cds I would love to buy their music!
Pastor Ryan Marr is awesome, funny and very kind! I love how he teaches from the Bible the word of God. Many churches do not teach from the Bible nor do they even have a Bible in front of them they just talk. How can I learn God's word?! God wants us here! I was starting to get discouraged since past churches I went to were such a huge disappointment. I almost gave up until Sunday morning July 31, 2022 God whispered in my ear and said "This is the church I want you and your son to go to". Wow to feel God's presence, his holy spirit!!! What an awesome experience I can share with others, God is so real, so happy we went! We are so proud and happy to be part of Calvary chapel 💒 the staff are very welcoming and kind! Thank you so very much! God bless you all! Praise him in Jesus Christ's name Amen! ♥️

Such a beautiful church. I feel so welcomed and loved when I'm here. The chapel is beautiful. I love the band that plays music before Pastor Ryan is great and so is his staff. I'm very happy with this church and love everything they do for the community. I just love this church. Words cannot describe how great it is. I suggest you give them a try if you haven't done so already. I'm happy we finally found a wonderful church.

Never have I ever been to a more diverse church! Every race, creed, age; they are all represented here! With two services on Sunday and a service on Saturday night, one can really find a time that works well for them. Free coffee and a complete breakfast line up make early mornings less stress! This campus also contains the only Christian bookstore of this size in all of Pinellas county so you are bound to find a perfect gift or read. This church is heavily invested in children and has a rather large area dedicated to them. They also welcomed a foster care organization to run out of the facility which has led to a strong heart for local children’s needs. The head minister is very highly educated and spends each Sunday combing through specific sections of the text (bible) teaching the specific meaning of the text. He is very down to earth and easy to relate to.
