The Monterey

We love staying at the Monteray. We stay a couple months in #8. The unit is Great! Has everything you need. Really clean, neat, nicely decorated, and stocked with great kitchen pans/utensils, etc. They also offer Beach gear, which we generally don’t use as we bring our own. But a very nice gesture. Great quiet location but walking distance to restaurants with Trolley stop right in front. The pool is clean and heated. We also enjoy the quieter beach by the Monteray. We’ve made friends with the other long term renters there and it’s so nice to see them every year. We really like working with Barbara, the manager of our unit, and the majority of units. She really cares about the units she manages and the whole Monteray. We saw her weekly. She’s very easy to talk to and very responsive! We can’t thank her enough about the care she does for the Monteray and the guests!

Loved this condo. It is a gem, we had a wonderful room right next to the pool. Pool was warm and clean. The access to the beach was 2 minutes away. Condo was clean, wonderfully stocked with every utensil you could need, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas...it was amazing....would definitely recommend and would love to come again. Owners communication was great, and couldn't fault anything. We came with our grandkids and had a great time. Thank you.

Great little place to stay, the Monterey. Unit 9 is excellent and the host (Laima) is lovely. The guestbook we signed was filled with comments of enjoyment from other guests too. Close to the ocean and a warm, warm pool, restaurant across the street and miles of awesome beach, close shopping for groceries by car and a bait and tackle store 2-3min by foot. Nice neighbours too.

Pleasant surprise here. Place looks straight outta the 70s. Once you go into the grounds you will find a beautifully landscaped paradise with a gorgeous pool that's heated and very clean. The room my mom stayed in was all renovated and remodeled with top of the line products. Walk to the beach is minimal and you get your own beach entrance for Monterey guests! Great place, has restaurants and bars walking distance and couldn't get much closer to the beach!
