Attended a Black Heritage event sponsored by the City of Safety Harbor. Youth from various schools/clubs participated. Excellent venue for a medium sized group. Staff was phenomenal! Donna Mack was our point person. Always great working with her and the team!
Who could rate the museum less than a 5? Overall, a really nice, albeit small, museum with knowledgeable and caring staff dedicated to preserving the history of Safety Harbor.
Took my grand daughter to an Ice cream social so much fun. We love our Safety Harbor Museum, I've always loved history and love Safety Harbor. It's a quaint little Museum and everyone should visit once in awhile. Children and adults love seeing the artifacts.
Interesting museum with various artifacts. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Small, so you can enjoy the museum and still go out for lunch or dinner in the area. Entry is a donation.
Nice and quiet little place with info about history of the area and also some other (changing) art on display.
There is a lot to see and learn for the interested, unfortunately there is absolutely nothing in regard to native people fishing habits/ways, which is surprising, since the whole area is basically on the shore so I would imagine natives would have used the ocean's resources quite a bit.
