(February 22, 2018, 9:34 am)Words alone cannot express my gratitude to Dr McKalip for this sincere care for my family member, his communication with our family and his empathy for what the whole family was experiencing. He was very patient and took the time to answer every single one of our questions. When we needed to be referred to another specialist he went above and beyond and personally called that physician directly and briefed him on our unique situation. Dr McKalip took care of the neurological needs of my family member as well as his emotional needs. Dr. David McKalip gets an A+ in my book.

(April 22, 2017, 11:29 pm)My husband has been a patient of Dr.McKalip since 2008. Both of our spines were fractured in a violent F4 tornado near Joplin, MO, however the damage to my husband's spine was extremely severe and required multiple surgeries. We moved to Florida when we were well enough to travel and sought out Dr. McKalip to repair the failed hardware that had pulled away from his spine. He was incredibly professional and had the foresight to not only reinstall the hardware, but to reshape the rods to fit the new curvature of his spine so as to avoid another similar failure. Dr. McKalip has been attentive in follow ups and came to the hospital to make sure my husband's spine was not compromised while he had to undergo another surgery for hip replacement in 2013. We trust his expertise implicitly and will continue to rely on him for any future needs.

(July 29, 2014, 3:04 pm)I was diagnosed with brain cancer on 7/10/14, Dr.McKalip performed my surgery, the doctor and his assistant was very nice,professional and personable, I could not have chosen a better doctor, he is a doctor that cares, it's not about the money, he actually cares and it showed, thank Dr.McKalip and your staff, keep up the good work.
