Very interesting place! Not only provides history of St. Petersburg, but also has little odd features like an Egyptian mummy and the world record collection of signed baseballs. Worth a quirky little afternoon perusal.

Super cool place!! Lots of great st. Petersburg stuff as well as other cool things!! Has an odditorium and little Cooperstown with the guineas book of world records amount of signed baseballs! Gift shop needs more stuff, but great time here for an hour or so. Visit the public library and recieve a free pass for 2 adults and 3 kids when available!!

The museum is a fascinating look into the past of St. Petersburg through several lenses. But there's more! There is a room of oddities that includes former president Howard Taft's (enormous) pajamas. My favorite part of the museum is Little Cooperstown, the largest collection of signed baseballs in the world. I'm a Yankees fan and there were plenty of signed balls from my favorite team: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Mickey Mantle, to name a few. Roger Maris also had a ball with his signature and "61 in '61" referring to his record-setting home run year. A fun museum in a fun part of town.

After completing our Segway Tour we visited this museum. I use to coach baseball and have been a fan all my life. Our tour guide said if you love baseball that we should go. She was right. There is several interesting history displays here but the baseball exhibit was by far the most interesting to me.
