I was a mess when I walked into Dr Hirshorn office. I had been run off the road while on my motorcycle by a huge dump truck. I slammed into the side of a mountain in NC. I broke many bones including my neck and shattered my femur. I was in a coma for a couple weeks followed by a month in the hospital. Durning my stay they tried to repair my femur. All they managed to do was make a complete mess out of it. Ran screws through the ball of my hip and into the hip joint putting me in unbearable pain, a leg several inches short. And not able to walk for a year! I was depressed, in pain and without hope. Dr. Hirshorn took one look at my X-rays then looked at me and said I live to fix people like you! I am 6 weeks out and already walking with one crutch and eyeballing the cane sitting in the corner. I will be forever grateful and can’t thank the doctor enough for giving me my life back!

I love my doctor he is wonderful and always gives me the special attention I need each time I have my appointment with him. Dr. Hirshorne is an amazing surgeon with 2 knee replacement and 2 hip replacement I have full range of motion. Thank you so very much.

Dr Hirshorn will know me as Malinda Rayburn. This is the first time seeing him. I was introduced to him in the hospital due to a serious infection in a hip replacement that was done by another doctor. Dr Hirshorn is very professional and has the best bedside manners. I really needed my hip replacement, other doctors would not touch me, because of the risks of me being over weight. I thank Dr Hirshorn for taking me on as a patient and doing my hip replacement. He explained to me very clearly about all my risks and things that could go wrong. He is a gifted surgeon and I would highly recommend him! I would clearly go back to him , his staff were very passionate and efficient.

Dr. Hirshorn is a great guy. He truly cares about his patients. Even if you decide to get help elsewhere. He will make sure you find the right help. I thank he and his staff for helping me. I had a serious issue with my knee. He fixed it and took care of me. That was about 3 months ago. Today my knee is back to normal. I can ride my bike again. I would recommend him to anyone. His staff is courteous and polite. 5 stars is not enough.
