Satellite Motel

This motel far exceeded my expectations. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful and very clean. Every room has either a balcony or patio that overlooks the pool. There are plenty of lounge chairs and several tables with umbrellas to enjoy the pool area and lovely landscaping. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect which is a big plus in my opinion. Staff was friendly and helpful.....see you again next year!!!

Just arrived home from a fabulous 4night get-away with friends. Was selfishly hesitant to post review, as i want to keep this hidden gem all to myself!! But it would be too unfair not to give praise to the fabulous owner and helpful, friendly staff! The rooms are so clean and beautifully renovated! Large kitchen area, awesome shower and the most comfortable beds. Balconies/patios surround the pool area, which is a hidden oasis: lush foliage; large clean warm pool; plenty of tables/loungers; bbq grills… and we made friends with so many other guests! Quiet, safe and so close to beach, bars/restaurants and John’s Pass! This should say it all… upon check-out, we booked for next year!

I originally booked for one night only as I am typically a “Hotel and Resort” person, never a Motel. However, I was intrigued by all of the reviews with photos and saying how clean it was.

It definitely exceeded my expectations. Love that they have laminate flooring in the rooms and not carpet. Everything seemed new and clean. Nice large TVs were a bonus. Right across the street from the beach. I ended booking for an additional 3 more nights and stayed in 3 different room types. All were equally as nice.

Office staff and housekeeping were very friendly. I already scheduled to book again. Prices have been fluctuating. Rate was great when I booked in February! It was averaging $130 a night. Rates have doubled for March. I’m guessing because of Spring Break. Averaging $260 a night😱 I’m not taking away a star because my review is based on my previous stay.

Great place to stay! I wonder if they have a loyalty program for travelers who visit frequently? Would be great to earn some perks or discounts.

Fun place to stay. Cute style and bright colors. Nice pool area. Very clean and felt safe. The beach is right across the street and walking distance to many things- shops, grocery store, restaurants. The playground at the beach entrance was a HUGE bonus for us. A/c worked great. Everything was clean. No bugs. Internet worked. Everyone was so friendly. It was nice to have the kitchen/appliances/utensils all stocked in the room and a full size fridge. The balcony room we had overlooked the pool area and it was nice to sit out there in the morning while eating breakfast and drinking coffee. The sunsets there were beautiful.

Absolutely love this place ! The new owner is amazing. The updates are fantastic. Please still keep in mind this is a old Florida style hotel and not a Ritz Carleton. That is why us locals love this place. If your coming for a nice quiet relaxing time at the pool or beach this is the perfect place to be. If you are here to party and make lots of noise I suggest you go to the Thunderbird instead. This is an awesome jem right access the street from the beach. You are in walking distance to everything. The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfy. I can not wait to come back and visit again! Thank y’all for everything!!!
