The Florida Shell Shop

Very homey felling shop, the owner was very nice, the shells were awesome, and for great prices. They have something for everyone - large shells, coral, bags of bulk shells, and lots of nicely organized shells in bins. Best place for shells in the state.

Beautiful shop, so MANY gorgeous items to choose from. I could have spent all day there and still not seen everything!! The prices are great as well. Definitely worth going!!

Great shop! They have a huge variety of items to choose from (HUGE!) and the prices are very reasonable. We even saw a few of the same items (photo frames) at Surf Style down the street, but they were $3.00 less at The Florida Shell Shop! Most of their merchandise, though, we didn't see available anywhere else. Their items range from kitshy to sophisticated and everything in between. Something for everyone!

On so many of our past trips to Treasure Island, we always said we wanted to stop in, but for some reason or another we never made it. This past trip in October 2020, we made a point to stop and check it out and we're so glad we did. Got some great items for family and friends as well as for ourselves. Plus they were open at 8pm on a weeknight on our way back from dinner at O'Maddy's (our favorite restaurant in the area!)

The gentleman inside was very friendly and helpful as well. Shopping here is now a must-do for us on all of our future trips!

The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought children's books and seashells.I was happy to see this place still here! You have to check this place out! It's old Florida and the simple pleasures of collecting seashells!
