“Attended the 7th grade there... back in 1954 - 55 year, when it was the original 2 story - Spanish Colonial Style.... Used to get there an hour before school and after coming on the same school bus with the Boca Ciega High Students - which is a couple of blocks away... Then we moved to the NE section of St Pete - then I had to take the city buses to and from school - but it was worth it. The next year I transferred to Mirror Lake Jr High! Got used to changing classes with six periods... One of the things I did not like was the 6th Period English class with the weekly spelling Bees... Got to learn how to play hand ball behind the school waiting for the Bus after school... Enjoyed the school....”

“Not a bad school. First year here with the little one and it seems to be okay. Their parking lot leaves a bit to be desired and sometimes the teachers come off a bit snobby. The office staff are nice and the layout is really nice. Lots of new tech and they utilize whatever funding they can. They also do shared classes with the handicapped, to help build understanding and help them get as far as they can.”

You have no idea as a single parent how deeply I appreciate the staff being nice and caring, and the Directors Ms. Sam & Ms. Kara and all of my sons teachers really care about the children and work with the parents, they are absolutely amazing!!! The facility is well thought out, the rooms are separated to keep the ages apart, but structured so that the teachers are able to help each other and interact.
