(May 1, 2018, 7:11 am)I would like to amend my previous review from earlier in 2018. I am pleased to report that the Management at Lake Hammock Village appears to be taking a serious approach to most of the problems that I had mentioned in that earlier review. Those concerns dealt with resident behavior, such as parking on grass, and failure to upkeep the look of the exterior home. Residents have informed me that there seems to be a genuine interest in Management addressing and responding to their concerns. There is still a divide between the residents who want to follow the rules of the Community and those who don't. However, Residents are now being reminded that they are responsible for following the guidelines of the Community to insure that Lake Hammock Village stays the beautiful Adult Community that it is. This is a very positive note. It is for that reason that I can now recommend Lake Hammock Village as a preferred Adult Community. There are presently four new Model Homes that are for sale. It's nice to be able to walk through, take a look, and really get a feel for each house. In addition, there are a few re-sale homes as well.
There are some real positives for this Adult Community.
The location can't be beat. The community is close to shopping & medical facilities.
Walt Disney World is less than 30 minutes away. -
