Lakeland Fire Station 6

I was taking a group of 29 children to an event in Orlando today. 7/9/14 The bus I was driving broke down on I-4 exit 33 . As we were looking over the problem and seeing if there was anything we could do to fix it, one of the fire chief's (I think) pulled up and asked if we needed any help. He took me to a gas station so I could purchase water then he purchased a cooler to put the water in. He did this out of his own pocket which is very rare in this day and age. When we got back to the bus one of his trucks pulled up with ice and they stayed with us till they had arranged for the mobile home park (Lakeland Harbor) across the street to allow us to stay in the club house which had A/C.. I can not say enough about how helpful everyone was and want to give them our sincere thanks for everything they did for the kids.
