  I have been dealing with severe pain for years between breaking my back in 3 places which has now developed into arthritis, previous cancer and presently a mass on my pancreas that causes extreme pain, pancreatitis and swelling! I do not like to take pain medication since I still work so Dr. Benito Torres has been helping to me to find alternative solutions. He is very patient & takes the time to listen! Yes, this may cause the schedule to run behind at times but I would rather wait knowing he will give me the same. I would rather have a doctor who takes the time to listen to you then someone who is going to rush in and rush you out! Because he has been so popular he has hired a nurse practitioner to help him so he doesn't have to take away much needed time with his patients! So if your appointment is only set up as a medication refill appointment, you may see the nurse practitioner instead but Dr. Torres always makes himself available to his patients! All I had to do is let her know I had an issue I needed to discuss with him. Since my appointment was scheduled with her, yes I had to wait a few minutes for him to finish with another patient but he did make himself available to me and did not make me feel rushed! I had issues with a implant device I tried and they worked me in right away working around my work schedule! If you want a caring, considerate doctor, then Dr. Torres is the doctor for you! Remember, there is only one of him and only so many hours in a day, so if you are really looking for help with your pain issues and not just someone who is going to tell you what you want to hear, then you will need to show patience like the rest of us! He is a great caring doctor and person! It really bothers me to see negative reviews knowing how hard Dr. Torres & his staff work to make us comfortable in these difficult times!

  Dr. Torres and his staff are the best. They dont treat and forget about you, they follow up the next day to make sure you're not having any issues. I highly recommend Dr. Torres and the Novus Spine and Pain Center.

  I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and fibromyalgia. I have a been a patient of Dr. Torres for almost 2 years now. He is not only highly educated in his specialty, Dr. Torres has an amazing beside manner! He takes his time and listens to any questions or concerns I have and offers solutions. The treatment plan he has made for me has been such a blessing! He has improved my quality of life!! I could never thank him enough!! He is truly an amazing doctor!! He and his staff are always professional, kind, courteous and compassionate! I would recommend Dr. Torres to anyone with a debilitating disorder!
