  Friendly Faces, crowded spaces
  Walk into Nolan’s and you’ll be greeted with happy faces and an array of wildlife options to choose from, albeit crowded spaces; which is not uncommon and if this perturbs you than the internet my be a better place to find your fish. Also they do not carry carpeting plants which is unfortunate.

  I am rating this a 4/5 stars but I have a long list of concerns that just rub me the wrong way.
  
  Their selection of freshwater fish is downright pitiful. What is the point of having 100 or so holding tanks if 95% of them are only Malawi/Tanganyika/whatever they are aggressive cichlids? If you wanted to purchase anything else, it is a hit or miss... usually a giant miss. There are times when you see a new batch of tropical but I think because people follow them on social media or live close, those get sold out immediately. Very disheartening on my end to spend 50 minutes driving there to find out that literally every fish I want is sold and tanks are empty every bloody time.
  
  I am not expecting miracles but for crying out loud guys... clean your tanks at least once a month.
  
  I feel that their pricing on bulkheads and strainers are a highway robbery but ok I am willing to pay the premium but they never have slip to slip fittings.
  
  Having been going there for years and years I am noticing a decrease in selection they carry. It seems to me that reptile section just keeps creeping into ever shrinking aquarium section. There used to be a time when you could peruse the isle and see like 17 different bioballs. Last trip I saw a tiny bag of one kind.
  
  Staff is as always hit or miss. You either get a very passionate person or person who just does not give a flying fish duck... usually the hipster looking type acting like they are busy without actually doing anything. I watched 2 male workers on my last trip walk to and from without actually doing anything for 20 minutes. One had a net... conveniently dangling off his finger instead of collecting dead fish in every darn tank. Other guy just went back and fourth through the back door just because. I was really puzzled by why... so when I left I drove around the building expecting to see him unpacking stuff. No... he was on his phone doing typical teenage stuff.
  
  Also... clutter. Ohh my gosh. it is near darn impossible to find anything while standing next to it.

  Quality local shop with great selection of fish and reptiles. Really nice and helpful staff.

  Staff is nice, energetic and knowledgeable! 5 star experience! Very inviting atmosphere and they have a little bit of everything, love it! Keep in mind is a little more pricey than lets say walmart but the knowledge is worth every penny and that's why I'm a returning customer!
