I had surgery today at Bartow Regional Medical Center. From the moment I walked in I felt the staff truly cared about me and was so kind. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and was so professional. My intake receptionist was thorough, sweet, and was smiling at me to help calm my nerves!
I need to take a moment to talk about the nursing staff! Oh my goodness these ladies were AMAZING! I have always had the most amazing nurses but these ladies went above and beyond to comfort me and one nurse hugged me because I was crying and I needed I truly needed a hug.
I then received a card that all of the nursing staff signed and gave it to me. My Anesthesiologist was so sweet and made sure that I was taken care of also! To my Doctor who did my surgery thank you for hand picking the best nursing staff! Dr. Matt thank you so much!
To Dr Matt, Jennifer, Hazel, Patty, Destiny, and Al thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion you showed me today!
As a 53 year old I have unfortunately spent more time at Doctors office than I would like. BUT I have never seen the amazing quality of service, professionalism and concern for a patient as Dr Mat and his staff. His attention to detail and genuine concern for my health go beyond any that I have experienced before. Highly recommend Dr. Matallana.
Dr Mat & his staff are absolutely AMAZING!! I had a mass on my neck/throat area that I was worried about & needed removed. They got me in within a couple days and surgery within 2 weeks!! I was worried because of family history with cancer and he put my mind at ease and still kept me informed about everything. I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to him & his staff!! I was VERY impressed with everything!! The procedure was done at Bartow Hospital and I was hesitant to go there, was not happy at all actually because I don't like Baycare facilities. HOWEVER I was VERY pleasantly surprised!! They were AMAZING!! I couldn't have asked for better care!! THANK YOU!!!
