“Dr. Hall has been a blessing. After having really bad experiences with Neurosurgeons in the Lakeland area, I was about to just give up and endure the pain. One visit to Dr. Hall and there was a plan in place to help me. He is not quick to recommend surgery and I appreciate that but he is not hesitant when that is the only way to resolve the issue. Instead of a fusion in my lower back he did what is call Coflex surgery and I now have NO pain and still have full motion in my lower back. “I have treated with them twice now through two separate car accidents and each time I can definitely say that I received nothing short of the best in patient care and consideration. Appointments typically don’t invoke any “wait”. It is very in-and-out, to maximize the time able to be spent doing therapies while also being willing to adjust that time as necessary, if more or less is needed. The staff is amazing and every single one of them are welcoming, friendly, and uplifting to be around. Wonderful people with great personalities. Of their many positive qualities the last I’d like to mention is that they’re very knowledgeable in their practice and so can offer a huge range of effective treatment plans and strategies to help facilitate the recovery process. Some days I’m tired and others my feet hurt and I don’t wanna stand. They’re always able to work with me and around my schedule, always taking great consideration of how I’m feeling and what would be the most appropriate, effective, and comfortable treatments. We filled out the paperwork at the front desk and was immediately taken into the patient room, The nurse came in and asked the usual questions took the temperature and blood pressure measurements. Within 5 minutes the doctor came in and here is where things were different, The doctor asked many very specific questions and spent a generous amount of time going over those questions and checking out my Dads records and answers to those questions, he didn’t rush the visit or blow off any concerns my Dad and I had. Moving from Augusta Ga three months ago and being under the care of two dermatologist there, and suffering with over three dozen Basel cell skin cancers over the past twenty years, the two dermatologist in GA looked many times at a dark small freckle on my neck but always said it was nothing to worry about. Well, I saw Dr. Shistik 1.5 weeks ago got the first time and she immediately said that freckle needed to be biopsied. That biopsy came back MELANOMA. I go for surgery this Thursday to remove this deadly skin cancer. If I had of stayed in GA and not moved to Lakeland Fl and seen Dr. Shistik I do NOT think I would still be alive next year.
