We had a can opener short out and was plugged in I was afraid to unplug it and I called the Fired Department they came right away and unplugged it and showed me why it shorted out. Thank you all for being so fast. You all were so kind to my mother and me. Bless you all its great knowing we have such a excellent fire Department here in Polk City.

Such nice gentlemen. Ran into them at Country Angels.

I met the heros of the Polk City EMS on Sunday, July 10th. I woke up with blured, and double vision. I was not able to walk steady, almost falling down several times. I was throwing up and just plain not feeling the least bit normal. I knew I had to call 911. They responded quickly to my call for help. They even braved their way past my 2 dogs, one of them being a large male Doberman, who wouldn't harm a fly. The care and reassurance they gave me was priceless. Before I knew it, I was inside their ambulance, and getting hooked up to get my vital signs. They were in contact with the hospital before they left my yard. Even though I think I was on the verge of freaking out, they kept me calm as possible. It was reassuring to know I was in good, experienced hands in my moment of need. I will never forget their faces, but unfortunately I did forget their names. I will make a trip to the FD to thank them personally. On that day, they were my guardian angels. Polk City residents, know you have a great team of EMS workers in our tiny little town, that will take great care for you if you ever have to call 911 like I did. Thanks Y'all

Saturday may16th i had a heart attack..no idea what the EMTs names were but they were excellent brought me back to life two times on the ride and once more at the emergency room. I know i was in great pain and I was cussing everyone out but they stayed with me . i know i died it was quiet and peaceful but then i heard "don't go to the light come back to us" waking to not realizing where i was at first...they worked hard at keeping me alive and have my greatest respect as do all fire and emergency workers....they were assisted by the sattlecreek fire fighters also i don't know how they got me out of the house i'm 6'3" and about 300 lbs but they did it .
    Thank you all very much
