“First and foremost the energy in this place is INCREDIBLE! They truly make everyone feel so welcomed. Junior serviced my 5 year old and Johanna serviced my 13 year old. They were very detailed and took the time. They were awesome with the kids. My 5 year old isn't very social and junior did awesome making him smile and we were so impressed with their work. I seriously cannot stress how amazed I am/was with the cuts! The detail! The fade! I HIGHLY recommend this place, junior, and Johanna. Oh! And they gave the kids a school supply! (Elli got color pencils). Love this place ❤️”

They gave me a smile finally after losing most of my top and bottom teeth due to a heart attack. And believe me when I say Dr. Bell has an absolutely amazing sense of humor. “I could not be more pleased with the caring and knowledgeable nursing services my mother received at Opis Highlands. My mother had open heart surgery and a bypass surgery and is in her mid-80s. She had a tough time and was in the hospital for a while but then released and we took her to a different rehab center that had high reviews. Horrible experience there! She felt ignored and I watched everything and saw that she was in fact ignored. They also ignored textbook signs of acute congestive heart failure and tried to make me feel like I was being irrational when I started asking questions. After four days I actually had to demand that my mother be taken back to the ER. She ended up staying in the hospital for another week because she was that ill. The ER doctors were shocked that my concerns were not taken seriously. I then decided to try Opis Highlands Lake Center based on reviews from doctors and nurses and I am so glad I did! Everyone there is so welcoming and warm and made my mother feel so special and cared for. They watched her like a hawk and gave a status report each and every morning with any concerns that they had. They coached me on things to do with her when I brought her home and gave me a full schedule of medications, home nursing care, and doctor visits she should have. I’m not a medical professional but went home feeling very confident and prepared. I am so grateful we chose this place and It is the only place we will use in the future.”

“I visited the home during a recent BLFS (Better Living for Seniors) breakfast event. The kitchen staff made a beautiful spread for us, which had a good variety and was tasty and fresh. The dining area where we held the meeting was tidy and clean. The staff were very pleasant.”
