(August 8, 2018, 1:53 pm)My experience here was fantastic. I'm not the best with cars and as a female, I do worry about being taken advantage of when getting my car looked at. I called this AAMCO about 4 weeks ago because my car had been smelling of gas and I actually saw gas dripping under my car near the gas tank. I was able to make an appointment for the next morning. I brought the car in and had to wait a few minutes, but they were busy, so no big deal. Once they moved the car to the back, the office manager and mechanic both told me that it was clearly leaking gasoline and that it wasn't safe to drive. They said it would cost about $200 to take the gas tank off to try to figure out the problem.
Now, I am going to be replacing this car soon, so I was trying not to spend a lot of money fixing it, which I explained and they understood, even allowing me some time to think about what to do. While I considered what to do, the mechanic looked up my car and found that there was a recall on the exact year and model of my car for the exact problem I was having. They even printed the information out for me, so I could take it to the dealer. The manager (I'm sorry I forgot his name) was even so concerned about me driving my car that he made sure that I only drove to the dealer about 4 miles away and didn't go anywhere else since the car was not safe to drive.
The dealer ended up fixing it all for free (it wasn't a nationwide recall, but a fix they do for free if the problem happens). The guys at AAMCO went above and beyond to help me when they could have just charged me probably $1500 to replace the parts themselves, as it was the gas tank, fuel pump, and pipe from the gas tank to where you fill up that needed replaced. I would highly recommend them (but they do get really busy so make an appointment). -

(July 30, 2018, 12:46 pm)I called and scheduled myself an appointment and was promptly seen the next morning. They worked quickly to diagnose my car's issues and set the expectations honestly even though it wasn't what I expected. They told me exactly how much it was going to cost without throwing fluff in there and gave me an accurate expected wait time. They had a finance option that worked for me too which was unexpected since I have less than perfect credit. I am thankful because without it I wouldn't have been able to get my car fixed. The office manager was fantastic! He kept apologizing for how long it was taking. I wasn't worried because he had been honest with me from the get go and I chose to wait knowing this. There is a restaurant right next door too so that was super convenient. They earned a loyal customer for sure. I would trust these guys with my car in a heartbeat.

I went there for the first time this week concerned because I decided to go there by driving in front of it every day when coming home from work (I didn’t have any heads up about the place), but then I was treated really good, since the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and sure that I was in the right place to fix my car. I made the appointment, they were fast, fair, with no hassle, you definitely can really trust these guys. I highly recomend this place and for sure it will be my place to take my car whenever I need.

Being updated along the way along with some useful background knowledge was an excellent bonus. There's no doubt I would have more work done here in the future.
