  After hearing Dr. Periera's plan during my initial visit, I was skeptical. I debated too long and wound up with a very serious infection in my right foot that landed me in the ER. Dr. Periera explained the procedure he was going to do and did it. He saved, at the very least, my big toe and most likely, half my foot. Today, for the first time in six years, I am walking without pain. It feels like a miracle - in fact, I believe that's what it is. I highly recommend an appointment with him for any concerns about your feet. Whatever he says, believe it! He's a genius!

  Dr Periera is amazing. My husband shattered his ankle and was in danger of losing the foot. Dr. Periera worked a miracle and saved it! We had 6 surgeries but it was well worth it. He is very caring and professional at the same time. You can tell he really cares. He was very through, cautious and listened to our concerns. I trust him completely and highly recommend him!

  Dr. Pereira is the kind of doctor that you hope all doctors are. Involved, invested in his patients. Decisive and bold in his treatment. He and his staff set a high standard for medical professionals.

  I fell at work, broke my knee and tore my meniscus. I had surgery to repair the meniscus and a screw was put in my knee. Soon after while still in physical therapy I developed severe drop foot and after an EMG test, I was told that my peroneal nerve right below my knee wasn’t firing. I spent months of valuable time running from one doctor to another. I was referred to Dr. Ryan Pereira. Dr. Pereira said the drop foot came from my fall at work or either the surgery. Of course worker’s comp denied all of that! I had several injections, an implant for nerve stimulation and nothing worked. I had to use a cane or a drop AFO brace to get around at all. I had to continue with Dr. Pereira for him to help me walk again without a brace. I wanted my life back! Dr. Pereira suggested a nerve transfer surgery, it seemed to be my best hope. I did read lots of articles and this is a fairly new procedure, but I didn’t want a brace on my leg the rest of my life. Dr. Pereira did nerve transfer surgery on 2/25/2022 and on 4/26/2022 I walked into his office without a brace and without a cane! I am still in physical therapy but I am getting better and stronger all the time. I am so thankful that nerve transfer surgery has worked for me! I was a huge skeptic about the procedure but I am so in awe of it now. Thank you Dr. Pereira, I wish I could give you 100 STARS! I am so happy! With lots of hard work and dedication to physical therapy, I am beating this. Dr. Ryan Pereira is AWESOME!

  Due to various health conditions, I have had to see many many doctors over the years. I’m 48 years old and have likely seen, no lie, over fifty plus. And I can’t say it enough, this doctor is kind, patient, involves you in your care, asks questions, and then LISTENS. I wish he could be my primary care doctor because that’s how easy he was to interact with. On top of being a great doctor, I would venture to guess he’s a pretty great human, too. A Grade A+ 100%.
