  I am currently living here and have been living in Motels in Daytona Beach since hurricane Matthew destroyed my apartment over a year ago. Stephan and The FSM have been the best experience in what has otherwise been a terrible life lesson. The lesson is stay away from Daytona Beach Motels- but if you need to, the Famous Shores Motel is by far the best out there. Did I mention there's a pool.... And they actually keep it clean!!

  Cute Motel on A1A. Across the street from the ocean. Nice pool. However all the rooms need to be modernized. And there are a lot of drug addicts. It doesn't seem like the owner cares. It would be cute if they got rid of the dilapidated Furniture and musty carpets. This place has a lot of potential. It's perfect if you don't have another place to go to. Very reasonable daily weekly and monthly rates.

  Very nice quiet lil hotel. Close to a great restaurant and bar on the pier, and directly across from beach access. Very friendly and helpful owner, clean room, and a pool

  Very great service and love the owners kindness to that have stay we all are like family.

  I live in Port Orange but this is our favorite "go hang out at the beach for the weekend" motel. The place is small and cozy. Arent twenty rooms. All rooms face the ocean from West side of A1A. Nice evening breezes. Staff is great. walk on beach entrance with mandatory stop crosswalk directly in front of motel. Rooms arent taj mahal. But when you come to the beach the room is to sleep in change in and to plan what youll be doing when you arent in the rooms in. If you are coming to Daytona Beach Shores to sit in a glorious motel room and never leave it do us a favor. Go do that in Denver and leave the rooms here for us to use. Love the ownership here. Local Americans.
