  Alright people before you are like "horrible school dont bring your kid here it is bad" please actually do research about the school. I used to go to this school and when I was there it was honestly one of the best schools ive been too. Though some of the teachers are strict, I believe that was a good thing. Some of the kids would be rebellious, and you can't avoid that, but most kids are nice. The school is overall amazing. I don't know the current principal, but he/she is probably nice as all the principals have been. Also, no, this school is not white-only.

  I used to go here but had to move but i loved it here i was happy and one of my old teachers mrs.maclin is here now and good news to her i made it to middle school and the teachers were nice and everything miss u my bff candy! ~J♡

  Mrs. Maclin and Mrs. Dalusio are caring and dedicated educators. They are genuinely invested in their students’ learning and success. They are my kids’ primary teachers, but my kids have also been positively impacted by the principal, assistant principal, staff, and other teachers as well. This has been an amazing year at Pride Elementary.
  
  These are only a few of our family’s experiences and observations this year:
  
  1. Mrs. Maclin was caring and attentive during the hurricane. She brought my kids home when I was too sick to drive. Because of her, my daughter now wants to be a 5th grade teacher.
  2. Mrs. Maclin and Mrs. Korkus attended our daughter’s musical performance, after school hours
  3.Patient cafeteria staff
  4. Mrs. Deputy provided an opportunity for our daughter to participate in the Volusia All County Choir; She also ignited our son’s interest in brass instruments
  5. We always had a fun time at the family events sponsored by the school, especially BINGO night
  6. Mrs. Dalusio knows how to educate young, energetic boys. She is a mother of two boys. As she plans her lessons, she asks herself, “Is this something I would do with my own sons?”
  7. Mrs. Wilbert has increased our daughter’s fluency in reading, and her overall confidence and love of learning
  8. Mrs. Quicksall encourages their creativity in art
  9. My kids describe Mr. Robinson as “strict and fun.” He’s always welcoming and positive at pick up
  10. We witnessed Mr. Robinson and Mrs. Korkus roll up their sleeves and push a parent’s car, after it broke down at pick up
  11. Always a friendly smile from the front office
  12. The safely patrol kids are awesome
  13. Kids are always talking about a new game they enjoyed at P.E.
  14. After trying it out the first week, my daughter always looked forward to science club on Fridays
