It's Saturday October the 7th at 2pm. Whoever is working right now is who I'm talking about. I told them they were doing a great job and I meant it! “The kentucky fried chicken nearest to my home in Cocoa Beach closed its doors many years ago So I do not get to enjoy their fine product as often as I would like When I'm out of town. I tend to grab a chicken tender's meal. My favorite side is mashed potatoes and gravy. Tonight, I was fortunate that the local KFC stayed open till 10 PM, and I went over and grabbed some chicken. KFC is one of those organizations that maintains consistent quality from store to store regardless if that is a company store or a franchise The staff this evening was very friendly. They were also efficient and quick. There is no doubt that whenever I am in the port orange area, I will have chicken at least for one meal”

“Directly across from our hotel was the Pier House. I will say the food was amazing but I only offered up a 4 star review because at the end of the meal I asked for the bill. My sons 17 year old girlfriend also asked for the bill. I’m a 50 year old woman and he gave the bill to pay to the young girl in school who needs to save her money. We didn’t eat cheap either. We had the most delicious tomahawk steak. He gave the bill to a young girl and not the adult and when I asked him to cancel it, he said he couldn’t. You know, an amazing dinner, great food, fast service all went out of my brain knowing a young child bought my meal. But the mashed potatoes were great.”

“Great Service, great atmosphere, and absolutely great food!! Absolutely 5 stars across the board. Walked in and saw someone eating a boil. We knew immediately that’s what we wanted. The bucket of love my husband and I shared. There was so much we had enough to still share some of it with others at the table. My mom got the “fish sandwich”. It puts other fish sandwiches to shame. It’s fried to perfection and has enough fish for two fish sandwich. The shrimp tacos, and burgers were also enjoyed by family at the table. All great choices. Appetizers… we got gator bites, catfish, and kick a.. sausage. Catfish was the table’s favorite app. Definitely on our list to return.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Miller's Ale House with my family, and we were all very impressed. Our waiter, Kaila, was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. We started with the artichoke dip, which was creamy and delicious. For our entrees, I had the Queso burger, and my wife had the french onion soup with a salad. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the french onion soup was rich and hearty. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Miller's Ale House. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was casual and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. Specifically, I would like to commend Kaila for her outstanding service. She was always attentive to our needs, and she made sure that we had a great dining experience. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu, and she was able to make recommendations that were perfect for our taste buds.”

“My friends and I went here for a late breakfast. Not a problem since Hannah's, is open until 3:00 today. The menu is full of wonderful choices for breakfast. My friends shared a beautiful waffle with strawberries and cream and the Big Belly buster that had everything on it including eggs,bacon,potatoes, in a huge mound and smothered with sausage gravy and melted cheese. There dish made my country fried steak with gravy and scrambled eggs look puny. I also had home fries with a side of gravy. All of us had to go bags. Which warmed up perfectly at home later. Prices were good and the service was excellent. The coffee was wonderful. They had a BLT with Turkey and avocado go pass me that looked so good. Sits on the corner of Nova and Reed Canal. “Chopp 'n' Blokk is our go-to for great bbq and soul food in Deland. It's located inside the shell gas station on New York and Spring Garden. The guys who run it are good people with good vibes, and the bbq is not only the best tasting, but the best value in Deland. Our usual is brisket with corn fritters and jalapeno poppers, but they also do excellent breakfast, grits, etc. You will be more than satisfied with anything on the menu. “Leanh’s is definitely one of the better Asian food restaurant’s the area has to offer. We ordered take out this time (it was also the first tome). The food was ready when they said it would be. The staff was friendly and they were BUSY. When ordering the General Tso’s, I was asked how spicy. I had never been asked this before so I assumed it was spicier than what I have ordered in the past so I chose medium. I’m not sure if it was even mild to be honest. So if you like it hot, I recommend turning it up a notch or 3. Don’t get this wrong. It was still flavorful and was enjoyed for lunch the next day. The sweet and sour chicken was uneventful. The pork fried rice was really good as were the egg rolls. No complaints, but we felt it could be more flavorful as it related to the sweet and sour. Would totally recommend this restaurant.”

They have a few to choose from. Their pre-made side dishes and quiches are fantastic but the deserts, omg, I can't get enough of.
