“I had major water damage through 2/3 of my house, and have been battling the insurance company. While I was waiting for the payout I went around getting estimates from all the major players. Needless to say I was horrified. Lowe's wanted $2700.00 to CARPET 2 rooms (lots of add-ons you don't see until you get the quote). Their prices sound great until you realize they pad the price for charging you for any tiny thing they do for you. I then called a variety of other places, and the cost was still outrageous. When I walked into Mr. Carpet I was almost in tears, and let me tell you they handily solved all my problems for an amazing price. A gift from God really! $4700.00 for one bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and vinyl planks in the living room and hallway. Not to mention all the molding the water damaged and had to be removed and replaced. Don and Dennis are wonderful, and truly care about people and the community. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Get the quote from Lowe's and/or Home Depot and THEN go to Mr. Carpet so you can see how badly the big 2 try to screw over the consumer. Only one negative I have to report is this: They did order way too much material, and didn't really let me know I couldn't return it. Almost 4 boxes of vinyl plank is a little much, but if I had to do it all over again I still would. So it cost me an extra $150.00? They saved me thousands. Just know when the material is ordered you're stuck with it. As you can see the bathroom is still in process, but the flooring they put in while I'm waiting on the new vanity is stunning. I will go to them for any floor replacement I ever need in the future and you should too!”
