“I bought a 1976 Yamaha RD400 that I found from a private individual, it had been restored 8 years earlier. I bought it because I rode one in 1981 and they’re a lot of fun. After riding it for 15 minutes it would bog down and lose power, I took it to a local shop in DeLand that I won’t mention, he had it for 2 months and then told me he wasn’t interested in working on it, said he wasn’t familiar with it. I called Orange City Cycles and the owner told me he’s worked on several over the years. I took it to him, but he told me he is behind and at the moment short staffed, which was okay with me I just wanted it running good. A month and a half later the owner called me and said it was fixed, he said the carbs were out of sync and had a lot of trash in them, kinked throttle cables and a bad flasher relay. I was excited to have it back and running perfect. Not sure about the other reviews, but my experience was a good one. Thanks Guys. Great Job.”
