“Wow. I must say, Dr. Shanna Stephen, MD is one of the most incredible physicians I have ever made. This was my first encounter with her though my son has been going to Pediatric Associates for about a year now. She had a same day sick visit appointment and I am super glad God saw fit for us to take that appointment. Dr Stephen was polite, though she ran a little bit late, she apologize and seemed sincere. Dr Stephen is a great communicator, she is gentle, knowledgeable and professional. She read his chart beforehand and knew exactly what I was in for. Not only did she ask me questions about how he was feeling, she also asked him questions which made me feel happy because that shows she values him as a person that knows how he feels (he is 4 y/o for reference) and she was empathic. She conducted a thorough assessment of my son ears, nose and throat as he came in for a hospital follow-up for Strep Throat. She also asked me for the name of the medication my son was provided and she also looked at the weight to make sure the dosage was accurate. Dr Shanna Stephen possess all the qualities you need in a pediatrician. I will definitely make Dr Shanna Stephens my son and future kids doctor. She is extremely passionate and it shows through her bedside manner. Thank you so much Doctor!”

I have an exceptionally complicated medical case that most physicians would drop like a hot rock, but he has been truly present with me through the worst and best times. Dr. Bentze’s listening skills are particularly keen, as is his ability to triage, form a plan of care, and think outside the box. He also has a fantastic sense of humor, which I find to be healing. He’s not very hands on, so if you’re looking for someone who touches you every time you visit, he won’t be a good fit for you. But if you want a doctor who genuinely cares about your well-being and is a partner in your health, Dr. Bentze is the best. (Did I mention he’s also somehow always on time?) The office could be managed better (growing pains), but the vast majority of the staff will be kind to you if you treat them with respect. An aside during COVID: I would also like to add that they’ve taken great precautions to protect patients during the COVID pandemic. The office has always been clean, but they’re going the extra mile to make certain that everyone is safe. Telemedicine appointments are available, too.”
