“Never thought I’d say this but I always have a good time at my office visits. I actually look forward to my yearly visits. They have the best music, staff is friendly and fun and DR Trish is on point. One of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. I have been going here for 2 years and I pass plenty of doctors offices on the way. It’s a 1/2 hour trip for me. But worth it. I feel super comfortable and tell her everything. When I haven’t with other doctors. My only worry is that the office won’t be able to take my insurance. Seems to be a lot of problems with insurance companies these days and not the offices fault. It’s our health care system. I would be devastated if my insurance company didn’t work with Thrive. I love this place. Thanks Dr. Trish!”

“I don’t typically take time to put reviews but when Doctor Portman called me personally at 7pm last week as a second referral from my primary care doctor to a neurologist- it gave me hope because I’m sorry- doctors don’t do that. I have been continually dismissed by doctor after doctor due to having mental health disorders in my file, no one gave me the time of day. I’ve been to probably 10 emergency rooms in the last 4-6 months and seen doctor after doctor. We had a zoom scheduled today and due to my anxiety in fear of being turned away with just a psych referral, he nearly rescheduled the appointment due to me being clearly upset. I closed my eyes, prayed and calmed down.. I’m glad I did. I say this because maybe someone else could have been like me and was just freaking out… but we were able to find a common ground and finish a thorough first appt. He ordered- without me asking first, the exact tests and imaging I have felt strongly I have needed for years… he also was very compassionate and reassured me he would listen to my concerns of medication side effects and explained how they could benefit me. I liked that because I don’t think any treatment will work well if you don’t understand what it’s doing in your body. He also apologized for coming off harsh at the beginning… I mean I am not saved by any means- but a doctor like this really deserves a 5 star review and to be recognized. He didn’t just treat symptoms and send me to the next, he’s taking steps that I believe will save my life. Thank you so much! I’m forever grateful!”
