“A debilitating headache for 4 months that no one could diagnose, until I found Dr. Spiegel. My headache began on July 2022. Two Urgent Care visits in August failed to solve the issue, they thought I had Acute Sinusitis. Was referred to and went to an Ear, Nose, Throat doctor in September. A head Cat Scan revealed no sign of sinus infection, except for a possible tooth infection. Advised to go to my dentist. Middle of September now, and dentist does a Full face X-ray and localized x-rays – can’t see infection. Was asked if I had a recent eye injury, no, but had cataract surgery earlier in the year. Advised to go to my Ophthalmologist. End of September and Ophthalmologist can't find nothing wrong, asks if I have seen a Neurologist. That's when I researched Dr. Spiegel, and went to him in October. Right away, he knew what I had: Trigeminal Neuralgia. He started me on medicine to treat the nerve pain, and slowly increased the dosage during the next 2 months, until the pain was not as severe as before. Because the symptom was being treated and not the cause, Dr. Spiegel suggested a procedure to deaden the nerve. On January 2023, after 6 months of pain, I made the decision to go ahead, and after 2 treatments, I'm now pain free! As I write this, we're slowly reducing the medicine until I don't have to take it anymore. Why the long story? If I can save you the agony of pain for just one minute, and you really need an excellent Neurologist, go to Dr. Spiegel. He knows what he's doing, and I'm grateful to have found him (his staff is excellent as well)!”

“Dr. Astra is an amazing doc. When my husband got sick with his diabetes, he actually saved him from losing his foot. Other doctors wanted to cut his foot halfway off, then his whole foot, then up to his knee and then half of his leg. Dr. Astra said no we're not going to cut his foot or leg off. If it weren't for Dr. Astra I can't imagine what else would've been done. He is absolutely the best doctor and my husband had a vein disease and needed more surgeries done, we always asked for Dr. Astra. I wished my husband's primary doctor wouldn't send him back to Astra, I think it was because of our insurance. My husband past away 9-30-2018, 9 days after his 71 st birthday because he was septic. But we always have great praise about Dr. Astra, no one is or could ever stack up to him. I don't know if he still remembers us or not but he had see us a lot. Tonal and Angela Bernard. “Easy to make an appointment. Great communication too. They texted and called to remind me of my appointment. Although it's a bit far from my house, but I like to go to this location. Very friendly and attentively staff. They treated and cared for me like a family member. From the front desk clerk to the nurses. Super clean facility. They processed paperwork fast and efficiently. My prescriptions were sent to my local pharmacy immediately following the doctor's visit and they were ready for pickup when I got there.
