Here, I ordered the chicken pot pie as a brunch (and orange juice as a drink).The pancakes that my aunt shared with me were really buttery and delicious! Catherine would stop by every 10 minutes to make sure that we were having an excellent dining experience and absolutely nobody at my table was disappointed with anything at all. “We had a small family get together at the Sea Hag on a Sunday. I ordered the onion rings and they were excellent. I also had the fried shrimp and Seafood chowder. The chowder was very tasty but the fried shrimp was a little greasy. Some of the group had Crab stuffed grouper and it was good. One had a burger and one had the crab cakes. Overall it was a good experience, even though the server seemed less than trained. He wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu.”

“Located at the end of the Residence Inn, Sushi Lab has fantastic views of the beach and ocean. Going to their website it looks like they have sister locations and are very fancy sushi restaurants, but this location also doubles as the hotel restaurant and has a lot of standard options. I happened to be there while Hurricane Ian hit Florida but luckily this area escaped any major impact. It was very rainy and windy so didn't feel like venturing out, so decided to give them a try for lunch. The restaurant is moderately sized and you'll need to use the hotel valet if you drive here. Staff was very friendly and the food was very, very good. I ordered the edamame and some yellowtail jalepeno sashimi for my lunch and it all came out great. Everything was actually very reasonably priced and I wouldn't hesitate eat here again.”

“On vacation for 5 days in St. Augustine from Ohio, and St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Bar was recommended by one of the locals. It was the perfect way to end the trip. While it was a bit expensive, it was worth every penny. Our waiter Daniel was top notch, we asked him many questions on recommendations and every one was good and we never had to track him down, he was always there at the right time. For food we had the fried gator tail, we weren't sure what to expect. It was surprisingly mild and tender. The stuffed grouper was out of this world, honestly it was so perfect it didn't even need to be stuffed with cheesy crab meat. We also had the captain's platter, which is a variety of sea food. All of it was cooked perfect, but my god, the scallops were melt in your mouth buttery heaven. We both had bacon collard greens, which were good, the cheesy grits were delicious and the hush puppies, we agreed, were probably the best we've ever had. The only thing that happened was we were told we'll probably need reservations, we tired calling a few times on different phones and we couldn't get through, even though the line picked up. So we drove the 8 minutes from downtown and took a chance. Luckily we were able to get a table but September is the off season so that probably helped. In summary, this restaurant was the best of our stay, pretty location, great food and drinks, excellent service. Will recommend to anyone coming within an hour stay of St. Augustine and we are going to think about this place while we are in the seafood desert that is Ohio. We'd come back just to eat here again.”

Everything, and I mean everything I've eaten there is delicious - and I've eaten just about every item on the menu. My favorite is the pasta fagioli - the best I've had. Their pizza is about as close to NY style as you can get outside of NY. I moved out of the area about 1 yr ago, but I still make the trek to Angelos often. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. The staff is quite friendly and attentive. This is your quintessential neighborhood Italian eatery, but with highly elevated quality.”

“Stopped in for Sunday brunch on my way to the airport. Even though they were very busy, the wait was only 10 minutes to be seated. All the staff were extremely accommodating, courteous and friendly. As an appetizer I ordered the broiled crab stuffed mushrooms which were prepared quickly and were quite delicious. The ranch dressing was a very good complement to them as well. For the entree I decided on broiled shrimp and scallops which were prepared perfectly, and the cheesy grits on the side were also perfect. My waitress Lexi, was very pleasant and professional. On top many many vegetables and toppings. They have some really delicious stubborn soda fountain drinks. I had the pineapple cream soda and I highly recommend it. It was delicious!
