“I never would have thought that I would have 2 middle-school aged children that count down the days of summer vacation so that they can be back to the classroom, but that is what has happened at Geneva. My children love school and have developed a love of learning through the personal relationships they have developed with each of their teachers. The staff and all of the families at the school genuinely feel like a part of a "community". All of the classes are taught from a Christian worldview by weaving scripture into every subject. We truly are "partnering" with the staff at the school to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Geneva complements what our children learn at home and at church so that they can be confident defenders of their faith. The Classical Model (or "trivium") takes full advantage of the developmental stages of the student's minds and provide our children with the tools they'll need to be successful in any walk of life (knowledge, understanding, and wisdom). There is simply not enough space here to proclaim all the benefits of a Geneva education. You simply need to go and see for yourself.”

“Fantastic tutor! Lis herself is a Cuban performer with a phenomenal voice and incredible piano skills. She knows what she's doing, and she knows how to teach. What strikes you the most about her is the loyalty that all students have towards her. Some have been going her for many years! I wanted to learn basic piano, and she taught me everything from theory to actual playing skills. There's a baby grand piano present, along with a wall piano and keyboards. Though I myself do not sing, I've heard her teach other students, and she knows how to train voices. Absolutely worth they money, it's well priced, relatively easy to find as it's close to US1 and miracle mile, and she's just a great teacher. Giver her a try, you'll learn a lot! You can even find some of her original music on Spotify and Apple Music under Lis Marquez, all of which is done by her. Good to listen to so you know how good her voice and piano skills are! “It is not the place I had imagined, but now I know it is the right place for me. I know some of the kids aren't the best, but there are a lot of good kids there as well. The teachers are mostly all very nice. It might not have had a full renovation yet, but I still believe the technology is good and definitely helps when working. It is a great place to be, where somewhat small town kids with big dreams can go and feel like they belong, somewhere they want to go. The chorus and the football team is great.”

“As a former middle school and high school teacher myself, I knew that traditional school would not be a fit for my family--I know that many other parents feel the same way but do not know what would be a better option---please consider Montessori and do the research. I looked everywhere to find a school for my son, and THANK GOODNESS I found this beautiful Montessori school and I happily drive 30 mins each way to ensure that my son (now 5 years old) will have the best possible experience and education. The staff are highly trained, friendly, empathetic and really, truly care about the children and their well-being. It is evident that the children are shown great respect and treated as valuable individuals. The school is VERY clean and organized, and I am so impressed with my experience so far....we began during the 21-22 school year and are now back for the 22-23 school year. The Head of School, Ms. Martyna, takes great pride in the school and is always finding ways to make it even better...in the year that we have been at the school so far, she has already expanded the size of the playground and added additional windows to the building. The classrooms are beautiful and have flexible seating arrangements and the very best Montessori materials. My son has a very strong personality, but his teachers Ms. Mariale and Ms. Nina allow him to be himself without attempting to force him into some "mold"---as a result, he is happier and more confident. The children are given a well-rounded education and guided towards eventually becoming mature and productive adults one day.....for example, I have attended events at the school where the Elementary aged kids have helped host the events, and it is impressive to see the level of social intelligence that they display for their age (especially compared to the children that I worked with while a Middle/High school teacher in the public schools). Among other perks, there is a full-time Spanish teacher on staff starting when the children are in Elementary, AND the Head of School is very involved behind the scenes and keeps updated on each individual child's progress on a regular basis by meeting with the teachers. This school truly provides each child with an individualized approach and the level of attention to every detail is just amazing. I could say more, but it is not the same as seeing for yourself. We all want what is best for our kids and I am very blessed to have found this school, so thank you South Florida Montessori Academy for being a wonderful second home for my son, and for providing me the comfort of knowing that my son is in the best possible place!”
