“I spent my first two years of high school here. I moved from Los Angeles to Springhill in 98. Out of all my years of schooling, including college, these two years were the best. I was part of the AFJROTC program and there was always something to look forward to. Teachers here were always pleasant and friendly. Whether it was Mr. Christopher Mock or Mrs. Hutchins. Mr. Allen was an awesome Spanish teacher. Education here far surpasses the education provided here in Los Angeles high schools. Advice to current and upcoming students at Springstead; enjoy everyday and make the most out of it!”

“So, my son Lord was at another day care before attending Wonderworld and if he misbehaved, they did not correct him. They didn’t really teach anything it was more like they just played music for the kids and let them color. He would cry every day for 3 months straight when I dropped him off, and I knew I had to find another daycare ASAP and that’s when I found Wonderworld Montessori. Vafa helped me with getting my son registered in the school and she is very nice. There is also a very nice gentleman who watches who comes and goes in and out of the premises and that makes me feel good to know that they have him keeping an eye on the property. My son Lord is 2 years old and he has four amazing teachers Ms. Obando, Ms. Lopez, Mrs.Rovshan and Mrs. Zargarli. Carmen is the main teacher and she is very one on one with the kids and when I saw how she teaches these babies I was completely blown away. These women are absolutely amazing and they go above and beyond to teach these kids along with showing them how to behave properly. This is my first experience with Montessori style teaching and I was shocked at how advanced some of these kids are. I’m so grateful to have found this school. The saying is absolutely true you pay for what you get. They school gives a real good variety of foods so the babies can figure out what they like and what they don’t and I love it because it allows my son to explore with different foods. My son has only been attending this school for 3 weeks now and today he leaped out of my arms when he saw Ms. Carmen. I’m not going to lie it made me tear up a bit with happiness because her presence made him happy. He never did that at the other day care and he was there for 3 months. The staff is beyond excellent, the curriculum is amazing for your child to thrive an excel. My son did more in this school in one week than he did in the whole 3 months at another day care. Thank you Wonderworld and your amazing staff!”

“My son has been going to Oakhurst Learning Center since he was 2 years old, so almost 2 years now. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They helped with potty training, developing and learning new skills, and communication. I would get pictures and update throughout the day through the app. They provide a weekly meal plan along with a structured daily agenda of their activities by the hour. My son first started with only saying a few words and after the first week we noticed a significant change in his vocabulary, singing lots of new songs, and was a lot more interested in how to communicate. He was at an in-home daycare with younger kids who he didn't get much interaction with. I feel extremely safe with my son going to this school as the staff really do care about the kids like they are their own. Within the first day of attending the school all the teachers knew his name and made him feel right at home. I was afraid he wouldn't want to go back but 2 years later he is excited to go everyday to see his friends and teachers. I would strongly recommend Oakhurst Learning Center for any child especially the ones who are uncertain about putting their kids into a center after being home with them and having to go back to work. This is the place to go. You will not be disappointed with the care.”

“Our little guy has been attending a little over a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about Carol, Charity and Austin. They are genuine people who actually care about the children’s well being and education. Little background; Caiden has been is now 5 and prior to attending here, he was kicked out of 4 child care facilities for behavior since he was 3 years old. He would not use his inside voice, sit still when asked, and picked up a bad habit of biting other children, and even his teachers at one point. We were hopeless. We really thought no matter what we did to try to stop this behavior- we weren’t going to be able to find a set child care program for very long without having to find another in the area that he hasn’t already been banned from. Carol’s been at it for over 30 years and it definitely shows! Not only has Caiden learned how to read, write, spell, do simple math, but his behavior is completely turned around. The amount of patience and energy that they put into these children really shows and I am so grateful we discovered their program when we did. They do so much with the children too! For example they had our local fire station come out with a truck and a couple firefighters to give a presentation and shoot the water out of the hose - They had a REAL butterfly garden showing the stages of life from caterpillar to butterfly- They have had plenty of farm animals as guests for education and of course the cute factor. That’s only a few. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home to your child-THIS IS IT. Now our little man is completely ready for kindergarten and is able to keep a few friends from this experience. We thank you for that and are forever grateful.”
