“I was concerned about my son's reading ability and had him formally assessed at Mandarin Reading Clinic at the end of his 3rd grade year of school. He tested 2 grade levels below where he should be, although he was getting and "A" in his reading class at school. He worked with a Speech Therapist one time per week throughout the summer for 17 total sessions. He improved by two grade levels over the summer months and is now reading and testing at his grade level. As a parent, it is rewarding to see your child enjoy reading. Before his assessment today, my son said to me "Mom, thank you for taking me to the reading clinic. I really do appreciate it". He scored the highest grade in his reading class for the last two quizzes. He now has confidence in his reading. Thank you to the wonderful speech therapists who worked with my son. I truly thank you and wouldn't have been able to help him succeed like you all did!”

“Our daughter went here for pre-school and loved it. The staff was very personable. There are fantastic security measures in place to help keep your kid(s) safe from the threats in todays world. It is in my opinion that the curriculum that is used will ensure that kids are ready for their next big step of their little school journey. It is not all class work though, they do have a very nice and secure playground area for the kids to interact amd expell some of their vast amounts of energy. This place comes with very high recommendations from myself and others. Dont sacrifice your kids to second best just to save a small amount by sending them to a second rate daycare center, invest in the best and forget the rest.”

The youth program, community outreach, clothing closet, food pantry, fundraisers, college scholarships, and they also support a sister church in Cuba. And they do much much more throughout the year. “Our son found this shop and Missy when he wanted to get certified My husband and I were NAUI certified many years ago -- and wanted to do a refresher course -- everyone at this shop was extremely helpful with all of our questions. The entire shop worked as a team and really helped each other out -- that set the tone for a great experience The refresher course was great. Missy is passionate and a great instructor -- high energy, has a way of teaching that you can really understand and remember the material. The pool work was just as immersive as the classroom. Mike was a great instructor -- all of of skills came back quickly and we learned a few new things. Like it so much we add the Nitrox course on -- we are very excited to start our dive trips -- we are planning do continue our education with the shop and our daughter is getting certified next month Thank you Scuba Quest Date of experience: July 2022”

“My Son attended this school and is now a Junior in College. My 9 year old and 2 Nieces currently attend this School. I have never encountered an issue that the teachers or Principal were not able to solve. Over the years the Teachers and admin staff have been Kind, courteous, empathic and very very helpful. They have shown a lot interest in my child's education and is very eager to assist in ensuring that my child succeed. The Principal and Vice Principal greets and respects each child and Parent and has an open door policy to any suggestions you may have. The teachers has proven to be quite resourceful and communicate effectively and frequently about my child's progress. It really takes a village, and Parents have to realize that these teachers are dealing with hundreds of Personalities all alone. I admit they may not be perfect but It also takes the involvement of Parents in their child's education and the institution they choose. I have gotten to know the Teaching and Admin staff personally through my constant involvement with the School participating as much as I can, and let me tell you ....THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!”
