“I ABSOLUTELY would recommend II Ventures to anyone who is interested in horseback riding. I recently visited this charming ranch and was absolutely pleased with the service I received by both Robert and Annemarie. The horses on the ranch were beautiful, patient, kind and well-mannered. I was a first time rider and both the horses and the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire ride. Robert and Annemarie both had amazing personalities that I instantly connected with... “For the price you get a lot of space, and the inside of the unit is nice. We got a single bedroom, but it had a living space, a small kitchen and a dinning area. Overall very nice place to stay. Only issue I had was it wasn't in walking distance to any place to eat, but it was a short cab ride or urber to a area that does.”

“Thank you Ellen and Cheryl for helping us plan the best vacation we have ever taken. The Alaska cruise and the extra week in Denali went just as we hoped for! We saw everything we could in in two weeks and they is so much more that we plan on going back with the grand kids in a couple years. The Tracey Arm fjord was spectacular... we woke up that morning and the ship was going in circles so that everybody got a great view of everything. “From my Y**p Review! I bought a horse! Now what? Yeah, I did it. Bought the house, bought the horse, trying to be respectable. Aren't gentlemen the guys who own horses? Does that make me a gentleman? (Referencing the movie 'Blast from the Past' for all you yutes, btw.) So, what were my problems? Horse trots too fast. He likes to canter (and I'm not ready). I'm putting all my tack on upside down and backwards. I wanted to ride Western! Western?!? Not too many actual western riding instructors here that I could yelp or google. Don't get me wrong though, they are knowledgeable in Barrel, Reining, Hunter Jumper, Jumper and Western Pleasure as well. Sarah, my trainer, was knowledgeable with both my (rider) problems and Chief's (horse) problems. I opted for an 8 week training program (reduces an already reduced rate) and finished with a much better relationship with my horse, and a return to better form. I am pursuing other things right now (specifically Salsa dancing - thinking of competing myself), but I'm glad I went through the program and plan to continue as I follow my dream of becoming a mounted mongol warrior salsa dancing cowboy! I highly recommend Equestrian's First Place as both a rider training and horse training school! Oh - and Sarah has a great voice! Bonus!”
