The airboat ride itself was very cool, it would be nice if the riding part was longer but the tour would need to be longer for that because you won't want to miss the history. Tommy explains how his family and people came to live in the glades and how their people persevered to gain government recognition of their sovereignty. It's good stuff. “Great restaurant, great food! The tuna tartare was amazing, best one on Ocean Drive so far, margaritas had just the right amount of alcohol. The prices are a little high but so are all the other good restaurants on the street. They do have a service fee included but that's common language for Miami Beach. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful and the music is great, not too loud, just enough to entertain. Overall great food and amazing service.”

People in our tour had questions and she had all the answers. The questions were the reason our tour took so long. “Welcomes centers can often be just blunt nondescript buildings. Not here. This place blends in perfectly with all the art deco hotels in this historic district. Inside you will find nothing but overpriced kitsch souvenirs and a very friendly staff. They do sell ice cold bottled water for a buck.”
