I cannot say enough about the staff at Thomas Scruggs Funeral Home. I must adv that this was my first time walking into a funeral home, so I was not sure what to expect when walking in. Kelsey was a joy! Not to mention she has the perfect balance of professionalism and emotional concern. Kelsey walked me through the entire process and took care of everything. Kelsey was even able to get a few laughs out of me during devastating time in my life.
I thank the Scruggs family for taking care of me during my time of grief, and thank you for taking exceptional care of my mom.

I came in late one Thursday afternoon to get help with a memorial service I was planning for our son that Saturday. Margie was available to help us and she did not skip a beat. They ended up being busy and she still managed to make us feel like she was giving us her undivided attention and help. She helped us with a wonderful memorial video, and all of the things we needed for the service. I was lost as to what we even needed to be honest, and she lead the way to make it not seem so overwhelming. They are top notch and my family has used them for years and I hope that if your family is going through a loss you will seek them for your funeral or memorial service needs.

When my grandmother passed the Scroggs family was so caring of my needs. I have never been through this before and they helped me with everything I needed while making it very clear and easy for me. As a young female I was happy to see a funeral director around the same age as me and also a female. It helped put me at ease during such a hard time knowing a female would be working on my grandmother and also being there for me when I needed to make changes on the service. Will be using them again in the future for any funeral needs.
