“As I complete my 5th year as a resident of independent living in The Palms I can say I am glad I moved here because... - The apartments are large, have a full kitchen with Whirlpool appliances and excellent room thermostat control. With three floors, 4 elevators make moving about quick and easy. - Housekeeping service every two weeks is adequate. The maintenance persons promptly keep any required repair or upkeep done asap. - Since my walking is limited to my apartment, I enjoy a scooter to get around the building. Fortunately, The Palms has a bus with a scooter lift which enables me to go shopping, out to lunch, and church. This is an important part of my life. - The grounds are kept attractive and I have bragged in the past that the large swimming pool in the courtyard is kept clean enough to drink from 12 months of the year! - I have yet to hear a dog bark. - Fellow residents are friendly and pleasant for the most part. - People comment that they never hear sounds coming from an adjacent apartment. I can recommend The Palms to anyone interested.!”

“A bank is a bank. They all seem to have long lines and are terribly understaffed. That being said Ms. Elisha is always pleasant and welcoming. She takes time to build relationships with her customers. Every time I am in there its evident she knows her customers by name and they are happy to work with her, as am I. Not to mention she has never made a mistake with my transactions. And she gives me peppermints instead of suckers because she knows I like them.”

“I have ordered sod four times from Super Sod Forest Park. My overall experience was good however on my third order a problem arose. A bad palate was delivered. That day the delivery did not come on time. When I called the rep told me the driver had to come back to load it -which should have been a red flag. It was delivered late Friday evening around 7. On Saturday morning it was laid, I ordered 2 palates. One of them had all brown grass and the bottom layer was all scrap pieces. It was after 12 so I called on Monday to complain because none of my other palates were brown and the bottom row was scrap pieces. Jason assured me that the grass was resilient and would grow soon this was on 7/21. I ordered another palate which was discount to over the scraps from previous delivery. After almost 6 weeks the brown grass is still over 90% brown. I again called to complain and I sent pictures both times. I am please to say that Super Sod employee Daniel has remedied my situation I will be getting a delivery on Saturday 9/12. Kudos I would definitely recommend the sod and service to others.”
