By far the BEST TRANSMISSION PLACE EVER!!!! My transmission slip on my commercial van for my business last Friday, I called this place and spoke to Bill that Saturday morning after seeing and reading the reviews. I figure I give this place a try. Bill insure me he will have it look at Monday at 9am if I bring it up there at that time. That Monday at 9am I drop it off. He Diagnose the problem at 2pm told me that the gears 3 and 4th are burnt out. Which I figure that was the problem. He gave me a few options but told me the truth and what I really need because this van was the only van I had to make me money. He insure me it will be done before Christmas with a Remanufactured transmission. I really didn’t believe he could have that done so quick in so little bit of time. On Wednesday around 1pm I got a called that the vehicle was ready for pickup. I was so shock I was speechless. I literally got my keys and my wife and I drove up the street to pick up. For the price that he charge me and with warranty I got with it. I will Never go anywhere but this place moving forward. Thanks Bill, you sure do keep your word.

Bill went above and beyond too replace the clutch in my 1996 pontiac sunfire. Knowing I needed it . I had the car dropped off and back in 2 days. Price was amazing and I didn't ask twice about it. I recommend Using Acworth Transmission. I will definitely be back for more engine work in the future.

Was referred to Bill by a coworker when I mentioned I'd just moved to the area and started noticing that my 2017 Ford Explorer was having issues shifting gears. When called, Bill told me to come on in and that he'd take a look at it for me. Let me be clear...I don't know ANYTHING about cars, and it was pretty obvious when I tried to explain what was happening. Bill told me to bring it in and he'd give it a once over for me. Upon my arrival, as I've never used anyone but a dealer in working with my car, Bill came out and greeted me as if he'd known me for years. We went over what the problem was again, and he simply told me to "take the day off, don't worry, and I'll be in touch soon". All of this sounded too good to be true. But, very next morning, Bill called me and essentially said, "hey, I pulled these codes when I ran diagnostics, and you really should go to the dealer to see if they'll do something for you".

My jaw dropped. Literally dropped and my drink spilled all over my shirt and shoes. Here was a guy whom I'd never met, and knowing that my transmission was failing, he was honest enough to tell me that it was an issue from a part Ford had put in when a recall was done.

I tried everything to offer Bill and his team compensation for the work they put in, but he refused. He understood that I was just moving into the area and was already under enough stress. I cannot thank this business enough for all they did to help me work through the process with Ford, told me what i needed to mention, and then their follow up to make sure that things were going ok while I continue to deal with the dealership.

Great service, great people and I'd refer them to anyone and everyone who has transmission issues.

I have an 08 GMC Acadia and the reverse went out on it. Being mechanically inclined I was able to diagnose the problem accurately and knew what needed to be done however I did not have the time to do the work myself. After calling around all of the local shops I was fortunate enough to find Bill! He gave me an exact quote when everyone else was giving me a Range of 1000 plus dollars on top of the initial repair depending on who you talk to. No one would give me an exact dollar figure. Bill told me how long it would take and exactly how much it would cost. He had it completed on time! :-) no additional charges! After having spoke to several mechanics there was a local competitor who called me back to see if he could earn my business by trashing bills reputation! I'm glad I followed my instinct! Having recently moved to the area finding a mechanic you can trust is not easy however I am blessed to have found my mechanic from now on! He is since worked on my son's truck and I look forward to many years of continued partnership! If you need any transmission or general Automotive Work done Bill is the guy!
