  Lucinda was so fun and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! I had already bought a wedding dress that I realized wasn’t the one for me, and encouraged me that I wasn’t the only one. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for (even when I didn’t really know myself). She was also super understanding of the time constraint I had and we managed to find a dress I loved that I could take home with me that day. I highly recommend A Formal Occasion!!

  Ms. Lucinda was a dream to work with! From start to finish they gave us the royal treatment here and I was able to find my dream dress within my budget! HIGHLY recommend coming here! At first I didn't think I'd find my dress here -- the dresses she showed me initially were not sparking anything for me, but as I tried them on and expressed what I liked/didn't like about each one, she brought out dresses I hadn't seen that looked closer and closer to what I wanted. She really LISTENED to me! The last dress she brought out was exactly the kind of dress I wanted! Truly she is a master of her craft, and she made it SO FUN!

  Absolutely an amazing place!! This was my dream dress fitting it was so fun and just an overall great experience!! Not to mention I found the dress of my dreams!! Definitely recommend this bridal shop for all brides

  I had the absolute best experience at A Formal Occasion. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! They provided such an intimate, personalized experience and truly listened to me and what I wanted my dress to be! The process was efficient, fun, and simply perfect. It felt so nice to have such a range of prices, sizes and styles to pick from. I found my dream dress here and was able to immediately take it home! They were just as excited if not more excited for me and my special day. 10000/10experience, come here.

  This was the best experience I've ever had! So warm and welcoming!! We sat down with the husband wife duo. Lucinda was beyond attentive and was able to ask all the right questions. She was able to help me know when to say no and when to decide it was a beautiful dress just not the right fit for my wedding. I'm terrible with decisions and terrible with being able to say no. She helped me find ways to decide which dress fit my wedding style. This experience was once again the best experience I could've asked for. Thank you again for helping me find my dream dress and taking the stress of dress shopping away.
