Hayes Elementary School

My son has special needs and is starting his 3rd year at Hayes.I have nothing but positive things to say. I heard bad things before we went there so we were very hesitant. Bad news seems to be the thing our society loves to spread.
I want to spread some positive news;
-This school is top notch.
-When you walk in the door it's very obvious the teachers WANT to be there. That is a sign of good leadership.
-We interviewed the principal Mrs. Watson and she is invested personally in the mission of better education and growing smart leaders at a young age and lives what she leads everyday. (My version not a quote)
- The school has a thriving volunteer group of multiple organizations and churches that donate, serve and support to enrich our children's lives.
- They have several after school events per year that are fun for the whole family.

I have much more to say but you have probably stopped reading at this point.

Don't avoid Hayes because of what you have "heard". Go find out for yourself.

I remember how the school was named! Nailed it.

We have had a very positive experience with Hayes, both in and out of the classroom. Great teachers and many positive changes in the past 5 years.
