Great experience. First one since Covid started. Staff was very friendly and Dr. Chopra did a great job at helping me with my uveitis emergency. Would definitely recommend this practice.
Dr. Alan Benedict at Georgia Eye Specialists performed my cataract surgery two years ago. I am very pleased with the results. Back then, and during recent follow-ups, I have always found him to be a careful professional with a calm approach and clear answers to my questions. He and other doctors at GES are supported by a welcoming office staff and caring technicians who efficiently move patients through the appointment process. Overall, I have been impressed with this practice, give it high marks, and easily recommend it to my family and others.
Overall I'm satisfied with my care. The office is clean and quiet and I'm always amazed at how quickly I'm in and out (probably because I always take early morning appointments). I find Dr. Sagar to be pleasant and very down to earth.
When I went to check in for my first appointment, they had me scheduled with the wrong doctor - an optician instead of an MD, which would not have been okay for medical and insurance reasons - but thankfully they were able to correct the appointment. There have also been a couple of times when I arrived early (as instructed) and the front door was locked. At my most recent visit, when the tech took me back to one of the exam rooms, I noticed sitting behind a cell phone on the desk there appeared to be a Trump 2020 dollar bill displayed. I find that (and any other political kitsch) to be inappropriate in a medical office setting.
