Dr Duffy helped me with my focus and coordination a lot . I have ADD and I usually have to take vyvanse for my ADD but after a month and a half with dr.Duffy I no longer have to take it and I am performing well in school and sports. He also made my rhythm and reaction time much more effective. I highly recommend.

I am so grateful that I was referred to Innova Brain! It has been a wonderful and insightful experience for me! After only 9 visits(3 weeks) with Dr Duffy I am 50% better. My neurological issues are so much better and I feel like myself again. I can only explain what they do as a miracle! I now have hope that I can live my life as a functioning person. I want to thank Leslie, Dr Patterson and especially Dr Duffy for giving me my life back!

I have suffered off and on with vertigo for close to 8 years. It all started after I hit my head (a few times), and then symptoms seemed to worsen as the years went on. Over the course of those years I struggled with chronic pain in my back, neck and right side of my body. I struggled with migraines, headaches and neck pain that would come and go. I never attributed it to a concussion, and just kept blaming it on all the added stressors in my life at the time.
I am a physical therapist and spent years trying to figure out what was actually going on. This consisted of consulting with my physical therapy friends and co-workers along with many doctors, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturist’s, a neurologist, spine doctors and psych therapies. I can’t even begin to explain the exhaustion and frustration that came with just making another appointment or undergoing another test. I would typically be referred out for physical therapy, which ended up just frustrating me and increasing worry and fear. It seemed I would get severe vertigo attacks when I would be in specific positions, and I ended up seeking vestibular trained physical therapists. They ended up doing repositioning maneuvers on me, which did help at the time but only fixed a tiny piece of this complex system.
I moved to GA in 2017 and was 6 months pregnant when I met Leslie, Dr. Patterson and Dr. Duffy. When I learned about Innova and made a consult with them, I began to see a glimpse of hope that I was in the right place. Dr. Patterson was so considerate, kind, understanding and willing to listen to it all. I believe he even ran out of ink as he was taking all the notes down, but happily grabbed another pen and continued to listen to me. I spent a week with intensive rehab at Innova and realized these doctors are what many people are missing out on. Dr. Patterson was thorough and very detailed, and even after that initial week, there was consistent follow up via email and FaceTime to ensure I had an understanding of things and that we were headed in the right direction. Since that initial week, I have made drastic improvements. It has been quite a journey for me since beginning with Innova, but they have been there every step of the way. I would not be anywhere close to where I am now if it were not for Dr. Patterson, Dr. Duffy and Leslie. My family did not have plans to stay in GA for long, but as we were exploring our options and seeing the gains with the therapy, this was definitely part of the reason we chose to stay.
Having so many years of vertigo and pain can do a number on a person’s self-esteem and emotional well-being. I began to doubt myself as a person, as a physical therapist, as a mom and in pretty much all aspects of life. Every single time I returned to Innova I was reassured that this is not my fault and that even though I suffered for many years, there is healing to come. Dr. Patterson and Dr. Duffy believe in me, and for that I am forever grateful. I have never felt an ounce of judgement from either of these doctors. It’s been years of therapy, and yet they continue to be faithful as I work my way to a more fulfilling life. There is no price a person can put on one’s health. I believe that if I never found Innova, I would be taking a path towards a very painful and slow death, whether it be physically and/or emotionally. My children and husband have been blessed along this journey because they have a better mom and wife. It is simply a blessing to me and my family to know Dr. Patterson, Dr. Duffy and Leslie. I thank God every single day for delivering such wonderful people into my life. They are family to us, and they will become family to you if you need their help. (Or even if you don’t!)

I am 21 years old and play D1 soccer for UMass. Back in March of 2019, I suffered from my 7th concussion from a spring soccer game. To say my recovery was short and quick would probably be the biggest lie I could tell. Between the months of March through August, my parents took me to every doctor they could possibly think of to try and help me get better. I would say some of these doctor’s were able to help me short term, but not long term. Not only did I lose soccer from this concussion, I lost myself and my ability to live my life to its fullest. I physically could not stand up without getting dizzy, I could not read because my eyes were unable to focus, I could not concentrate, I could not put my arms out and then touch my nose, I could not have a conversation with someone because they would speak to fast for me to follow along, and so many other things. And then the pain I was experiencing should have been unbearable for me, but it had just become too normal for me to think otherwise. I went every second of every day with a massive headache, constant ringing in my ears, neck pain that was so painful I could not even touch my neck, and constant eye pain because everything I was trying to look at would just turn blurry on me. My parents and I finally heard about Dr. Duffy in November, but by this point I had lost all my hope that I was ever going to get better. I personally did not want to go see another doctor because I had accepted my pain and learned to live with the new changes in my life. Thankfully, my parents never gave up hope and convinced me to see Dr. Duffy over Thanksgiving break when I was home from school. The moment we walked into Innova, I knew this place was going to change my life for the best. Between Dr. Duffy, Leslie, and Dr. Patterson, I felt like I was at home and knew I was in good hands. They didn’t just treat me like another patient, but instead they treated me like a normal person and a friend, that they truly wanted to see me get better and had every intention of getting me there. After my consultation with Dr. Duffy, I went back to college with hope and excitement that there was finally light at the end of my tunnel. My brain camp with Dr. Duffy started in January and lasted a week. Every session with Dr. Duffy, I walked away better than I walked in. I was constantly improving, something I never thought I would be able to do. Dr. Duffy was not only able to give me back what I was lacking in my physical skills, but he also gave me back my happiness, something I hadn’t been in months. It is now August and I can honestly say Dr. Duffy saved my life. Without him, I am not sure I would be here. This last concussion I had took everything from me and I had accepted that I would never get those things back. Dr. Duffy gave me everything I was missing back and so much more. I can now stand, run, jump, focus, read, laugh, enjoy myself, and all the little things in between, all because of Dr. Duffy. I walked away from Innova with a new life and friendships that I will always be thankful for. If you ever have any doubt that your life cannot improve, just know that I am walking proof that Dr. Duffy is indeed a miracle worker at his job!

I had been dizzy and walker bound for 2 and a half years and had been to tons of Dr.s who say they specialize in everything that I have “I also have Tourette’s Syndrome + since I was 6” after 2 and a half years of my Dr.s fight with each other blaming the other one’s medicine they put me on and at one point one of my Dr.s told me at the end of the visit to COME BACK IN A YEAR!!!!!????? That’s when me and my mom found Innova Brain Rehabilitation and today is my last day here and not only do I feel like I’ve never felt before but I can walk without any help and I can even run!!!! I feel a lot more energetic and Dr. Duffy said we are not going to stop until my tics are completely null and void and we are not going to stop until I can drive and I’m already planning on going back to school to get an IT degree and get a job in the future! My whole life has been opened up and the week isn’t even over yet and I’ve only just begun!!
