It's very organized and clean with a great amount of space. The environment is really quiet and there is plenty of computers and seating
Love this place!
My advice:
- go there in the afternoon if you want one of the good seats (the ones by the window with the couch).
- if you go to the website you can reserve study rooms
- if you forgot to reserve a study room, just check the computer at the front, there usually are some free that you can reserve on the spot
- if you need a book look it up online in the library website. Sometimes there are online versions of textbooks, and you can even get books from other Georgia libraries
Basically, read the website. The building is cool and a nice place to study, but the library is so much more than just that.
Used to come here in between classes during my first semester at KSU. The “den” (lower level) is a great place to be for quiet studying. The rooms on the graduate level are also good for last minute study session for groups. Not needing to set an appointment for some rooms is great and convenient. The only thing I would recommend is having more power outlets on the lower level. Finding power outlets was tough and even with the new design, not every power outlet worked as they weren’t connected to main power line. Hopefully they figure it out soon
