My visit with April was wonderful! She did a great job and her insight for my hair care was invaluable. I'm enjoying my hair more now!
My daughter and I have searched for a great stylist for years until happening upon Sawyer Bailey Salon. The office staff is super sweet and take time to make you feel comfortable, and April is in an unbelievably amazing stylist. I have a miserable time picking new styles that will fit me. But April takes time consulting with each client looking at the shape of your face and helping recommend styles that would look good specifically for you. My daughter has always had issues with stylists because she would tell them exactly what she wanted but they ended up giving her what they wanted, but not April. She listened and gave my daughter exactly what she asked for and she was thrilled too. We both got so many compliments, we’ll never go anywhere else!
I found the experience at Sawyer Bailey Salon very nice. The staff was extremely professional; yet at the same time personable. I am happy with the results. I was even told by a friend four days after my visit to the Sawyer Bailey salon that she could see a difference in my skin. Let's just say, I AM GOING BACK!
I have wavy hair that is thick and challenging to cut. I went in to see April on a whim one Friday afternoon and lucky for me, she had a cancellation and could take me. I had a cut I was not happy with and she knew exactly what to do to get the look I wanted. After being between stylists for months.......I now have found a place where someone "gets" my hair and knows how to cut it correctly. The salon is a smaller salon; it's not loud; and you really can go there and relax. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
The first time I went into Sawyer Bailey I was impressed with the decor. I was treated with respect and courtesy. I did not meet April, the owner on my first visit, but was greeted at the door by the receptionist and my stylist, Janie, who is absolutely the best hairdresser I have ever had and I am 61 years old. I have naturally very dark and grey hair, but I have been a light blonde for 20 years. A very difficult, if not impossible 3-part coloring. No one has ever been able to give me what I asked for in an even and thorough color like Janie. All the ladies in the salon were extremely friendly, they all conversed with me, and I believe we all had a good time getting to know one another. I am sorry the person below did not have a good experience. Without knowing all the details, I would certainly not overlook this salon without giving it a try. It takes time to get to know your stylist and them to know you as well. If I were that person, I would give it one more try. Everybody has bad days, but I am sure being the professional April is, she would certainly make good on any problem you had.
