“I love your Chicken Tenders, your livers, and fillet fish. Did not disappoint. But the best thing that happened to me at this store was being helped by hard working and honest employees. You see, I accidentally dropped more than $400.00 at the store that was on my money clip. I considered it lost and gone forever but I took a chance and called the store to see if anyone has picked it up. And Lo and Behold, an employee named DeMarlon turned it in to his Manager Margarita and told me they found my money. “Update: 04-08-2022: The place was busy. My server, Shea was professional and quick. Pretty much the fastest I received drinks in all of the places I visited. Oh, it was good to see some of the same faces since the start of the pandemic. 💝 The food was good. They have some staffing shortage but do the job. Most places you will meet the manager but the bartender and others were running the place. For example at a few Longhorns you will see a manager. So where was the manager on a Sunday afternoon???”

“As a long time resident of the neighborhood, this Checkers deserves 5 stars. Every time I come in the employees look happy working together. Very nice people and efficient. Normally there’s 2 workers. One on the cashier and one cooking, the cashier will help the cook. They are fast & efficient. Never had any issues with the food. The only thing is I think the seating area is way too big so it can give off an empty feel. But if you have a family of 10+ there’s plenty of seats haha.”

I wasn't sure what to expect based on some other reviews, but don't let the exterior fool you. The rooms were pretty well sound-proofed, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the song list is EXTENSIVE!
