Jonathan is a gifted and passionate classical guitar player who brings both patience and enthusiasm to his teaching. I came back to guitar after decades of playing sporadically and it showed. I lacked confidence in my playing abilities. Jonathan worked with me and within a few lessons, had me diving into the deep end, challenging me with pieces that I never thought I would play. I particularly like the way he follows up his lessons with an emailed recap and a video showing what we played and reminding me how to play the tricky parts. It’s a great reminder for my practice sessions. He’s inspired me to actually practice and improve my playing beyond what I thought I was capable of.
