“I wish I could give 4.5 stars or just a full 5 because I like it here! The only issues I ever have here are always things beyond human control like Waterbury. It's affordable, clean,spacious and conveniently located near many restaurants and 20 minutes downtown Decatur. The staff is very efficient and friendly especially Sonya. She's always so polite when I get locked out of my room because I lost a card or something. And anytime I've asked her for something she might not have at the time she would make sure to find someone who did. Great staff,great stay,great choice!!!”

“I have been a part of the Salem family for three years now. Admittedly, I was hesitant to send my kids to the school after hearing horror stories. However, my children have excelled in this school. No school is perfect. However, I have made every effort to ensure that this school is perfect for me. I am active with the teachers and administrators. I have volunteered my time and donated money to classrooms. This is my neighborhood school and I insist that the expectations that I have of the school are met. I have enjoyed the opportunities that my children have received through such programs as Junior Achievement. I will continue to support this school as that is where my tax dollars go. “My son just started Kindergarten . We are ten days into the new school year and I am very pleased with my school selection. With everything going on I myself was extremely overwhelmed with picking a school. They worked with me every step of the way. My son seems to be enjoying himself and with each passing day I am pleased with everyone I have met from the Principal, front office staff, the library teacher, his kindergarten teacher and a few other parents who also speak highly of this school. Parents were called for a reason this is an amazing school they said they love the school ! The students are acting like that for views because none of this is true! The principle is amazing. The teachers teach you . Some kids just don’t pay attention we never had pink meat or uncooked food so this is all a lie and should not be here and deleted . “I highly recommend Derek and his team at Tiger Parking Lot Striping! Derek gave us a quote to power wash and repaint the curbs, parking numbers, and striping in our 216 home community prior to the pandemic, and then though we could not arrange from our end to get the project ready for him until a year later, he still kept his price exactly the same! Each day of our project, Derek and his team arrived on time and stayed until the project for the day was complete, even on days when complications on our end made it take longer than expected. We had to make modifications on our end several times, and he was always willing to accommodate all of our requests, even when we needed to change a paint color that we had chosen and have him repaint. We had an unfortunate safety issue arise that Derek had to deal with, and he still made sure to finish the job, AND not increase the price he had quoted us! Our project spanned over a few weeks as we had to make arrangements for cars to be moved for both power washing and then again for painting, and it was very much appreciated his willingness to work with us on all of the frustrations from those needing to have to move their cars, a difficult homeowner, and even needing to move dates as mother nature decided to let it rain! It is nice to know there are small business owners out there working hard, and standing by their services. We are now enjoying the fresh paint, clean sidewalks and curbs and loving the fresh newness as we enter the sunshine filled days of summer ahead!”
