In the times of a pandemic there must be a better way to handle the long lines and wait time especially considering that I'm currently witnessing two attendants in the store work but only one is on the register while the other stocks. Best business practice is break down the line then go back to stocking. This store had this problem prior to the pandemic. It makes me wonder how their cleanliness is while this is going on. I did not see the cashier at the time sanitize her hands once while working to registers at once and handling almost 20 customers. Cant wait for this store to be under better management. Update May 2022! Remodeled and new items. I'll have to get use to remembering where items are but awesome selection to choose from. I love gifting items and usually grab little trinkets, gift bags, etc to decorate. They did sell clothes but I have not seen many , just basic t shirt/underwear. They also have a small grocery section that offers fresh food. Always delighted to have a healthy option to choose from for the family. I am a snacker and this has helped me choose a banana versus a bag of chips 🤦🏾♀️, hey its keeping me health conscious! They are still working on organizing which is to be expected since we're recovering from the pandemic. Staff shortages everywhere so we'll just have to be patient. The manager here is awesome! Always friendly and helpful! Give her a raise she deserves it!”

That piece of grilled chicken did not make it home. We have already planned to come back. Some of the best customer service we have had in a while. It smelled clean too. “First and foremost, the environment is family friendly. Their curriculum is the best in Douglas county. It took my son 3 weeks to read after he got pulled out of a government funded Prek program which wasn't doing no good to him. He is going to 1st grade this year and he reads the bible and reads any book he comes across. They have classes for 3 years old and the fee is way cheaper than a regular day care Center. The 3 years old are thought to read as well. I love the school and I am ready to work hard for my kids to get the best education and training. The ratio of kids to a teacher is 7:1. So they have ample time to focus on a struggling kid.”

“My husband and I just bought our first brand new home! I've always wanted Plantation Shutters but could never afford them. I met the owner of The Blind Boss through a friend on Facebook. She was prompt, so friendly and knew her shutters and blinds. She told me exactly what to do, and i did it. There is nothing like waking up to the smell of brand-new shutters! I had installation in 3 weeks! I was out of town at the time and left the key so they could get in. That's how much i trusted this company. The installer, Dean Martin, yes Dean Martin was the best! He made sure I knew how to clean them, take care of them for the rest of our lives. If Dean wasn't happy with something, he always came back and corrected the issue within a week. The Blind Boss, CEO Sha Nelson are professional, polite, and highly reliable. I would not go anywhere else for the excellent job they have done!”

“I had a complex issue with my 1982 singe family owned Mercedes 240D. David responded quickly. After some phone tag because of my schedule I was able to speak to him today. He gave me very clear instruction of what typical surrounding issues and therefore replacement parts and labor would be for my 280,000 mile transmission. He was able to give me options of having it fixed and offered a very reasonable plan B if i did not go that route(of sale vs part out the car per my question). I love honest, direct people. He gave me exactly what I requested. Note: i was referred to Bud's Benz from a Mercedes tech from another shop. I recommend and say a huge thank you to David and Bud's Benz. . Options, its what my father taught me to strive.”

Since it's PRIVATE, it's not listed in the AFD (20GA) and the CTAF (122.9) isn't listed on the sectional. Field elevation 1100'. Runway 28-10, paved, in good condition. Right traffic for 28 to avoid overflying nearby residences.Tree's both ends but 4500' runway. Since this is a PRIVATE airport I assume they don't want your touch & go traffic. I'll be trying a weekend visit with my '47 Luscombe 8E.”

I remember coming here with him as a kid to pick up his clothes on a pretty consistent basis, and to this day, he always speaks very highly of the owner and this place. Recently, I've started coming here to get my comforter clean - I come in, drop it off, and get it back within a couple of days - no hassle. Because of the pandemic, I haven't had a need to get any of my business clothes cleaned, but once I'm back at the office, I can definitely see myself using this place consistently as well.
