My experience at 1st Edition has been nothing less than stellar. From my first visit, the owner shared a genuine interest in helping me find books I’d enjoy. He always greets me by name, and takes thoughtful care to recommend items or go out of his way to pull items he feels I’d be interested in.

I never feel pressure to make a purchase, and the owner is very cognizant of whether I feel like interacting. Want a quiet browse through the store? Done. Want to ask questions about past issues and inquire about special ordering? The owner is more than happy to accommodate with a smile on their face!

The shop is always extremely clean and organized, which makes finding items very easy. A low soundtrack of Top 40 Hits, songs made popular through movies or TV, and other eclectic mixes make for a delightful browsing experience.

Overall, patroning 1st Edition has become an escape for me. I know when I stop in I’ll be entering a safe, friendly, and inviting space where I can find a new story to explore.

1ST EDITION COMICS ! The Best Comic Store In GA!

I've been living in this area for 20yrs and this is by far one of the best privately owned businesses to be established in Peachtree City. It's not just a great comic store , its simply one of most professional, customer service friendly, and immaculately kept businesses you'll find anywhere south of (ATL) and that's saying a lot! For anyone who is a avid comic book fan like me, I would strongly recommend stopping by whenever you get a chance because you'll be thoroughly impressed!

Being away from comics for some time; I decided when I found my old collection that it was time to pick back up on an old hobby. After traveling around, I found a place somewhat hidden among the now busy PTC area that stands out among all the others. The first thing you will notice is that you are always greeted and acknowledged when you first walk in. The owner makes it a point to get to know and understand each customer.

When you enter the store to your right are all the new comics and current back issues you could ever want. Don’t fret if you do not see one you may be looking for; just ask! The shop owner always goes above and beyond to help you find what you need. One experience I had was when we were looking for a sequel to a series found at the library, Jared was able to locate and order it for us.

In addition to comics they have POPs, Marvel Legend figures, even board and trading card games such as Magic. If you are geared more toward the comics, they offer pull and hold services as new comics are released each Wednesday. This service allows you to look ahead to what’s new to be able to select what you want and request the shop to hold them for you. Always check their Facebook page for new comic information, what’s on the horizon from the major publishers, and additional information on the pull and hold services they offer.
Pair that with their recommended 3rd party app titled league of comic geeks and you can track your collection and create a map of comics to look forward too.

A few of the other services they have are the availability of boards and bags for your comics upon checkout. This allows you to pick up and look through a title you may have interest in and see the overall condition of the book as opposed to competitors were books are already sealed and possibly hiding defects. They offer gift cards and additional supplies such as storage boxes as well. A detailed receipt of your transaction is always provided.

Jared is a master of his craft and has a wealth of knowledge that makes this the place to become a regular customer. As one once said “Impressive... Most Impressive”. 😊

Everything was neatly set up and organized. My son bought several DC comics and was very happy with his purchases. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable!
