I'm currently attending Jo Thor's Dog Training Academy, in the Professional Dog Trainer course 301. I'm scheduled to complete in October 2021. So far I've had a good experience. I'm re-learning so much!! I love that I get to do hands-on training with my dog & others. Joan is flexible according to my work schedule & completing assignments. Lorenzo is a veteran with a love for all who have served and those he served for. He is knowledgeable and experienced in his craft! He brings his military training and experience along with integrating methods from Joan Lask into the trading program!

Joan, Ernie, and Lorenzo have gone above board and have provided the most personal experience in an environment that assures you have plenty of one on one attention!

Let me start first about what Jo-Thor is. It's a magical place where all the dog lovers get together. If you are interested in getting your dog trained by a wonderful, experienced, very knowledgeable professional, Jo-Thor is the place to be. If you are looking to become a wonderful, knowledgeable dog trainer, Jo-Thor is the place to be. Everything I thought I knew about dogs before I came here was chicken scratch. I have learned so much from Joan and I am not nearly done with my training yet. I can't wait to see what the future of my education at Jo-Thor is going to bring. And for Veterans that want to use their post 9/11 GI bill and don't think a traditional college is for them, this is the best decision I made on how to spend my GI bill. If you like dogs, like working with dogs, or just like to know more about the dog mind and behavior, Jo-Thor is the way to go.
