First of all, I am a pediatric nurse. We saw Dr Silverboard initally for migraines for my teen son. He helped us then. Unfortunately, 2 years ago the same son experience a "significant" concussion. I found Dr Silverboard's advice and treatment all that I could have hoped for. My pediatrician highly recommends him and I completely agree. We like that he is not part of the "big" group at CHOA. I found him to be willing to discus with me at length questions and concerns. He guided us through a very trying and scary time for our family. My son has completely recovered. He recommended a very conservative treatment plan and we stuck to it 100%. I know of other kids with similiar injuries, who were cleared to return to sports much sooner by other physicians and have residual effects...
