Peaceful and welcoming of all. Not a "mega church" or a fundamentalist place. Quietly inquisitive and thoughtful, lots of interfaith community involvement, and intimate enough where you can get to know everyone by name. Great children's Sunday School programs.
My 4 year old daughter has been at The Preschool for going on 3 years now and has loved every minute of it! She loves her friends, her teachers and the administration. The Preschool has really taught her to love school and learning. As a mom, I've had a great experience with the entire staff and trust my child in their care and know she is learning a ton and having a great time. The Preschool feels like family!
Can't say enough positives about the Preschool at Northside Drive Baptist. It's the perfect mix of everything...learning, play, art, music, science, running around and having fun, lots of love & attention and not overly religious (we are a mixed religion family and this is very important to us). The teachers are what makes Northside so special, this is not "just a job" to them, they treat the children as if they were their own. The director of the preschool has an "it takes a village" philosophy and by default you become family. The School is SCAS's accredited & teach based off the Creative Curriculum. My two children attended Northside for 3 years and transitioned into private school well prepared. We have all built life long friendships with numerous families & teachers at Northside and are so very thankful for the preschool.
We love the Preschool at Northside Drive Baptist Church. This is our daughter's second year there. They emphasize learning through play and nurturing the child as a whole human being to develop into caring and inquisitive individuals. The teachers are wonderful with the children, and we like that it's a smaller preschool so there's a more intimate feel to it. The hours are great, 9:30am-1:30pm, so I can actually get things done while my little one's at school. Our daughter is learning so much in a loving, fun, and safe environment. I highly recommend this preschool.
We spent 3 years at The Preschool and loved it! It is such a sweet and warm environment. My son had a wonderful experience and still likes to go back and visit the teachers and staff! We were drawn to the size of the preschool, location and curriculum. We loved the hours offered and the after school activities too. You won't be disapppointed here!
